Tecno Pova Slim 5G: What will be special?
The company has confirmed that it will launch Tecno Pova Slim 5G on September 4. Tecno says that it will be the world’s thinnest curved display smartphone. Although its exact dimensions have not been officially released yet, earlier this year at MWC, Tecno introduced a concept device called Spark Slim, which was only 5.75mm thick. The Pova Slim looks very similar to that prototype, so it seems that Tecno may now introduce that concept to all users under a new name.
But, its record of being the “thinnest” may not last for long, as there are rumors that the iPhone 17 Air could be even thinner, measuring just 5.5mm thick.

The design of the Tecno Pova Slim 5G is its biggest feature. With a thickness of just 7.45mm, this smartphone not only looks attractive but is also extremely comfortable to hold in one hand. Although the thickness has not been revealed, Tecno has revealed some other features of this phone. According to this, the device will have support for AI tools. Which will also have Circle to Search and the company’s own Ella AI Assistant, which will be able to understand and answer Indian languages.
Tecno also claims that this phone can make calls without any cellular network. Although it has a limitation, this feature only works when the other device is in Bluetooth range. Along with normal 5G connectivity, it will also have support for carrier aggregation.
The device has a “dynamic mood light” LED around the rear camera, which lights up and dims at your will. Despite being so thin, it is expected to have a 5,000mAh battery.
